摘要
首先简要分析云计算平台的基本特征、技术优势及其在数字图书馆中的应用。之后,基于"面向全国的广播电视大学数字图书馆建设项目"的研究成果,结合云计算平台、SOA、VPN等技术,提出一种新型的分布式数字图书馆构架模型。本文详细介绍该架构模型的主要组成部分、层次结构、关键技术及其与现有数字图书馆系统的融合等内容,并将其应用到全国广播电视大学数字图书馆的建设中进行验证。该系统能够通过服务注册和开放API机制,动态整合地理位置分布的图书馆资源和服务,以满足不同层次和规模的用户需求。
In this paper, we discuss the basic features and technical advantages of cloud computing, as well as its application in digital library. And then, we propose a new distributed digital library framework based on the contribution of the Digital Library Project of Nation-Wide Open Universities, in combination with cloud computing technology, service-oriented architecture (SOA), virtual private network (VPN) and other techniques. We provide the implementation details of this framework, including its crucial compo- nents, tiers, and integration for current digital libraries, as well as its application in Digital Library Project of the Open University. This proposed framework can seamless integrate the service and resource that are belonged to geographically distributed libraries by means of services registration and OpenAPI, in order to match the requirements of users.
