摘要
为了实现Modbus设备接入到DeviceNet网络中,研究设计DeviceNet-Modbus协议转换装置,从而实现两种总线间的互连具有重要的研究意义。参照Modbus和DeviceNet协议规范,介绍了协议转换器的软硬件设计方法。对Modbus和DeviceNet协议转换的关键问题进行了分析,提出了基本的解决思路和实现方法。最后采用DNSDT协议分析软件和RockWell公司的主站设备以及带有Modbus接口的温度模块对协议转换器进行了测试,并且详细分析了试验数据,证明该协议转换器完全达到了预期设计要求。
This paper designed a DeviceNet-Modbus protocol conversion device in order to realize the Modbus equipment access to the DeviceNet network, which is vital to achieve interconnection between the two fieldbus. Reference to the Modbus and DevieeNet protocol specifications,it introduced the hardware and software design methods of the protocol converters. Aimed at the key problems between the Modbus and DevieeNet,it presented the basic ideas and realization methods. Finally, it tested protocol converters by using IXXAT' s DNSDT protocol analysis software, the RockWell' s host station equipment, and the temperature module with Modbus interface, to analyze the experimental data in detail. The result indicates the protocol converter can obtain expected design requirements.
