摘要
系统基于Altera DE2-70开发平台,选用500万像素COMS摄像头进行图像采集,图像信息经Sobel算子图像边缘检测算法处理后由液晶显示器显示。算法采用了可编程宏功能模块与Verilog HDL语言相结合的方法实现,实验结果表明,基于FPGA的硬件系统能够很好的实现Sobel算子边缘检测算法,通过设置合适的梯度比较阀值,较为理想的提取图像边缘信息。
This paper introduced a system which can extract picture and collect the edge information from the image by Sobel operator algorithm based on Ahera DE2 -70 which included a CMOS 5 million pixels camera and LCD. The algorithm was programmed via macro function module and the Verilog HDL language for FPGA. The simulations results show, this algorithm can be implemented on the system, and it can acquire the different information at the edge of image clearly and correctly via setup different gradient threshold.
