摘要
对高师英语专业大学生学习动机与性别和年级的关系进行了定量分析研究,结果发现:高师英语专业大学生英语学习动机总体状况良好,但动机总体强度不高,还需进一步提高;男生的内在动机和外在动机均高于女生,但不同性别的英语专业大学生的英语学习在动机强度上不存在显著性差异;一年级学生外在动机低于二年级,其差异达到统计学上的显著水平。根据研究现状,对提高英语专业大学生英语学习动机提出了建议:通过培养对英语学习的积极态度,提高英语自主学习能力,以及增强对英语学习的浓厚兴趣,进而达到提高英语学习动机。
A quantitative analysis of English major students" learning motivation is done from the perspectives of gender and grade differences. The result shows that the English major students" learning motivation is in good condition, but the intensity of motivation is not strong enough. So it is necessary to improve the intensity of learning motivation. The male students" intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation are higher than that of female students'. There doesn't exist significant difference of intensity of motivation between the male and the female. The extrinsic motivation of grade one students is lower and significantly different from that of grade two students. So suggestions are offered to improve the English major students" learning motivation in normal university, cultivating positive attitude toward enhancing the interest of learning English, improving English autonomous learning ability, and learning English.
