信息技术下理工科专业英语教学的新思路

New ways of subject based English for science and engineering majors under information technology

在分析理工科专业英语教学现状的基础上,针对社会和学生的需求,对专业英语教学内容进行了重新的定义,建立了专业英语学习网站。在信息技术应用与课程整合的基础上,提出了专业英语教学和学习的新方法,是一种能充分体现学生主体地位的"自主、探究、合作"的新型教学和学习方式。

The status quo of subject based english (SBE) for science and engineering majors is analyzed. In view of society and students' needs, the subject contents of SBE are redefined, and a SBE learning website is established. Based on information technology ap- plication and curriculum integration, a new kind of teaching and learning model is proposed, which can fully realize 'independent, inquiring, cooperative' teaching and learning styles.
