构式语法视角下的回溯语研究

A Study on Retronym from the Perspective of Construction Grammar

回溯语(retronym)指的是"用新称呼来指代旧概念"的语言现象。通过对其组构类型的重新分类,以及从"构式"的角度对其形式、意义和语用层面上作全局的解释发现:回溯语"定+中"的层级性结构属于构式上的"自主-依存"关系,回溯语"定+中"修饰语的选择机制属于构式上的"部分-整体"关系,回溯语"定+中"这一语符的使用乃是基于构式上的"语义-句法映射"关系而来。

Retronym is a linguistic phenomenon of using a new name to replace a certain traditional concept while new con- cepts appear. This paper deals with its new classification in construction types and global interpretation separately in its formal, se- mantic and pragmatic structures viewed from symbolic unit and construction. The findings are： firstly, the hierarchical structure of retronymic expression ＂modifier plus central word＂ belongs to Autonomy-Dependence Relation; secondly, the selection mechanism of retronymic modifier belongs to Part-Whole Relation; finally, the use of retronymic modifier is based on the Semantic-Syntax Mapping Relation.
