Detection of free amino acids in plasma is one of the important means of clinical diagnosis. This paper discusses several kinds of detection method of amino acids in the plasma and the development of detection technology. The detection technology mainly contains the liquid chromatography, amino acid analysis and liquid chromatographymass spectrometry technology. The application of these methods is also introduced.
