Hong Xiuquan and The Traditional Confucian Culture

太平天国运动中,洪秀全根据中国国情和起义的需要,通过对西方基督教进行改造,创立了拜上帝教,用以动员和组织广大民众,取得了良好效果。同时,洪秀全的思想又与中国传统文化有着不可分割的联系。虽然洪秀全一直高喊着独尊皇上帝,反清反儒,可他骨子里却又摆脱不了儒家思想的影响。太平天国颁布的纲领和执行的措施,在很大程度上恰是洪秀全借鉴儒家文化为其服务的表现。

In Chinese history, the leaders of the Peasant＇s uprising often use religion to launch the uprising. Hong Xiuquan, the first peasant leader with a sense of Chinese modern history, transformed the Christian according to China＇s national conditions and the needs of Peasant Movement, created a doctrine of Al Church of God to mobilize and organize the peasant masses, thereby setting off a vigorous campaign of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Analysing the ideology of Hong＇s thought, it has a inseparable relationship with Chinese traditional culture. While Hong had been sided emphasis on God, anti -Corruption, he was still deeply influenced by Confucianism, betrayed the one side and used the other.
