The Western Han River Valley with a strong and thick wealth of culture , including both the gene of the Zhou and Qin culture and the cultural effects of the Zhongyuan and the Di and Qiang, together with the elements of the Bashu cuhure, is the birthplace and foundation of the Qin culture. The folk technology design there has strong bionics awareness and distinguishing regional features： the design of the folk locust cages largely reflecting the commercial awareness in the courtyard architecture along the Western Han River valley, is an epitome of the regional folk architectural culture.
