摘要 针对移动通信终端计算能力的不足,提出了一种适用于可视电话视频压缩编码的快速运动估计算法。根据当前块运动矢量类型和可视电话视频对象的运动特点,自动选择不同的搜索策略进行运动估计搜索。该算法在保证图像主客观质量的前提下,有效地减少了运动估计的时间,大大降低了编码计算量。通过对不同类型的视频序列进行测试表明,该算法计算复杂度降低了55.4%~69.6%,且对于不同运动类型的视频具有较强的适应性。 Aiming at the defect of mobile communication terminals' computing power, a motion estimation algorithm for video compress coding that is applicable to videophone is presented. According to the type of motion vector of the current block and the characteristic of video objects on videophone, different searching strategies will be selected to be applied in motion estimation searching. The proposed algorithm not only ensures subjective and objective quality of image, but also effectively reduces motion estimation time and coding calculation. The experimental results show that its computational complexity is reduced upto 55.4%- 69.6%, and the algorithm has strong adaptability for different types of video.
