The Research of the Actual Combat Ability Improving of Cadets in Police Colleges by Using Wushu Short Weapons

通过分析当前公安院校开展擒拿格斗训练的存在问题,探讨开展武术短兵训练的必要性。认为:武术短兵实战价值较高,可弥补当前公安院校擒拿格斗训练的不足,增强学员实战对抗技能,提高学员参与警务实战的心理素质。

Through the analysis of the problems happened in the police academies training of captures the wrestle, the authors discussed the necessarity of having short weapons teaching. Finally, the aothors hold a view that the short weapons have high value of actual combat which can make up the shortcomings of captures the wrestle training in the police academies. Short weapons training can also improve the actual combat skills and psychological quality of the students.
