Study on Shen Congwen's Local Novel in the Context of Western Hunan Dialect

通过分析沈从文小说中湘西方言的运用,解释这些词语在小说创作中所起到的作用,力图说明方言的运用使沈从文小说更富有感染力。

Through the investigation of Western Hunan dialect used in Shen Congwen~ novels, the author tries to explain the functions that the dialect plays, and believes that the early novels by Shen Congwen are more charming than the later ones.
