As the most significant semiautobiographical novel of Fitzgerald＇s later works, ＂Tender is the Night＂ is repre- sentative of the ＂ Roaring Twenties＂. Dick, the protagonist of this novel, is a complex figure who shows androgynous propensity. This paper is going to analyze this propensity, thus shed some light on his behaviors and later degenerate.
