明初贵州安南卫由尾洒卫更置而来,从设卫伊始至成化元年,在约80年的时间里,陆续都有卫所武职调入该卫,而安南卫的主体——军则主要是洪武二十二年由宝庆地区垛集而来的。通过武职选簿进行细致的个案研究,可以修订一些相当流行的看法。
