An emotive approach to the metaphorical use of address forms

说话人短暂的情绪变化可以通过变异称呼语来表达,这需要借助隐喻建构完成。以称呼语的隐喻用法为研究对象,重点对其在动态语境中表达的情感进行规律性总结,以期揭示隐喻用法与常规用法的内在联系。研究表明:一般情况下,隐喻用法表达情感和常规用法表现礼貌的实现方式一致,即情感和礼貌正相关;但在表达强烈的情感时,礼貌和情感呈逆向吻合状态。

The unexpected address forms express a contemporaneous feeling or an attitude. The variation of address forms, a departure from the norm, is the metaphorical use. This paper attempts to investigate some emotions in dynamic contexts presented by address forms and to summarize the general rules. The findings demonstrate that the way metaphorical use of address forms expresses emotions is the same as their normal use presents politeness under normal conditions, i.e. emotion and politeness are in the normal distribution. However, when address forms deliver intense passions, emotion coincides inversely with politeness.
