A Theoretic Review of the Impact of Technology Scouting on Open Innovation in Firms

在文献分析的基础上,辨析了技术搜索及与之相关的其他概念,尤其是技术搜索与技术竞争情报(CTI)在概念与内涵上的异同,明晰了开放式创新背景下技术搜索的独特性。之后讨论了技术搜索的方法分类与流程阶段划分,并对开放式创新背景下技术搜索方式的变革趋势进行了归纳。然后,重点提炼出技术搜索对企业开放式创新影响的两个结论:技术搜索对开放式创新有促进作用,可是其对创新绩效却有着积极与消极双重影响。最后,在评论现有研究进展的基础上对未来有待进一步深入探索的两个研究主题进行了展望。

Based on literal analysis, the article distinguished technology scouting and other relevant terms, especially tlie similarity and difference between technology scouting and competitive technology intelligence { CTI）, and clarified the particularity of technology scou- ting. Then, the categorization of methods of technology scouting and its procedure phases were discussed, including the changes and wends of means of technology scouting under the background of open innovation. After that, the thosis mainly cpurated two conclusions aboUt how technology scouting impacts firms＇ open innovation： technology scouting can promote open innovation, but it can bring a two-side impact on open innovation performance, which are positive and negative respectively.
