摘要
从心理学的角度来看,面子的实质就是个体的声望、成就、社会形象、个体能力的表达载体,是个体努力维护的一种公众形象。学者们通常采用社会调查法、问卷调查法和实验法来开展面子的研究。主要的研究焦点包括:(1)丢面子、争面子、留面子;(2)面子对个体心理和行为的影响;(3)面子的跨文化研究。面子问题应当引起心理学者的重视,开发其有效的测评工具,并将其置于文化背景下进行考察。
The essence of "Mianzi" is the individual efforts to maintain a public image which is the vector of individual reputation, achievements, social image, and individual ability from the psychological point of view. Social survey, questionnaire and experimentation are the three main methods to carry out the related study. The study focus of "Mianzi" mainly includes: (1) losing face, gaining face and saving face; (2) the influence of face on individual psychology and behavior; (3) the cross-cultural research. The future study should pay attention to the developing and the measurement instrument of mianzi, focusing on the special cultural context.
