Lithospermum erythrosbizon is a traditional medicine, its effective part is radix. And it has many pharmacological actions. Lithospermum erythroshizon is a plant with wide uses, Shikonin derivatives, extracted from Lithospermum e.rythro- shizon were extensively applied in medical treatment, food and other fields.
