The film ＂Babel＂ depicts four plot-stacked stories happened in four countries. The film reflects human＇s communication predicament--aphasia by sketching several characters＇discourse images with different races, ages, and statuses. What is more thought-provoking is the portrait of female images and female＇s state of aphasia. The depiction of female images such as the Mexican maid, the Japanese dumb femal student demonstrates the male chavinnism embodied in the narrative of the film, and the analysis from the feminist perspective helps to destruct the predicament of aphasia.
