“转注”综论

The Overview of Zhuanzhu

综述各家对"转注"概念的不同诠释,提出对"转注"概念的理解:"六书"是根据汉字形体与所记录语词音义关系划分出来的汉字结构类型,"转注"的特点是字形中某个构件不能与所记录语词的音义相互联系,但可以借助"某省形""某省声""倒某""反某""古文某"的形式与其他相关构件联系起来,从而辗转与所记录语词的音义发生联系,使其字形能够解释其字用。

Different interpretations for Zhuanzhu are analyzed, then the author＇s opinion is put forward： six categories of Chinese characters are structure type of Chinese characters which are divided by relation between Chinese glyph, sound and meaning of the recorded words. The essence of Zhuanzhu are, when a component of a character can＇t have contact with sound and meaning of the recorded words, the component can contact with other component by the method of interpretation such as ＂ellipsis of phonetic component＂, ＂ellipsis of semantic component＂, ＂inversion of a component＂, ＂reversion of a component＂, and ＂ancient glyphs of a component＂, and thus the glyph can explain its use.
