摘要
从借用、译者与作者两方面对比分析了毛诗原作和三个译本的翻译,探讨不同译者翻译策略和风格的异同、得失及规律性特征,期望能对毛诗英译或汉诗英译研究和实践有所借鉴。
This paper sets out to compare and contrast both the similarities and differences of three English versions of 42 Chairman Mao poems, with an aim to investigate their translator style, techniques of translation, as well as their pros and cons. The dimensions of investigation consist of the borrowing techniques employed by the translators, and the author - translator relation as indicated in the translations.
