This paper introduces the electrolyte constituents and the process of oxidation of aluminium and its alloy with chromic acid, discusses the various factors associated with the process including chromic concentration, operation conditions and herterogeneous ions and gives out the measuring method and standarization of the film for its anti-corrosion properties.
