On Poets Learning from Du Fu in the Early Song Period

学界认为宋初诗人已经普遍受到杜诗的影响,这种描述与事实并不相符。尽管宋代是学习杜诗的高潮期,但杜诗被确定为宋代诗人的诗学典范经历了一个相当复杂的过程。实际上,杜甫在宋初诗坛还没有引起诗人的广泛注意,杜诗的崇高地位也没有确立。在宋初诗人中,只有王禹偁等少数诗人学习杜诗,但仍杂以白体,成就有限,而林逋等诗人只是受到了杜甫的隐约的影响。所以,宋初只是宋代学习杜诗的初始阶段。

The academic world generally believes that poets in the early Song have been widely influenced by Du Fu＇s poems, but this is not in accordance with history. Though Song Period is the climax to learn from Du＇s poems, his poems go through a complex process before they are established as the models of the Song poets. In filet, Du Fu has not attracted wide attention in the poetic world of the early Song Dynasty and his high status has not been established. In early Song poets, only a few poets like Wang Yucheng learn from Du, but they still follow Bai＇s style and achieve only a little. Meanwhile, poets like Lin Bu are only slightly influenced by Du Fu. Thus the early Song is the beginning period to learn from Du in the Song Dynasty.
