简要介绍了国内外农业生物工程发展情况 ,在抗病虫、抗逆、品质改良和杂种优势利用方面的应用。就 3个特定问题讨论了生物工程产品的安全性。

There is the introduction on the development of agricultural genetic engineering at abroad and at home, and on its applications in resistance to plant diseases and insects, resistance to abiotic stress, improvement of crop quality and utility of crop heterosis in the paper. We also discuss the safety assessment of genetic engineering products in three special aspects, then give the advices and the ways to solve the problems during the development of agricultural genetic engineering in China.
