On the New System of Fostering IT Skills on the Part of Teachers College Students

信息时代要求教师掌握现代教育技术 ,掌握信息化环境下的教育教学规律 ,具有在信息环境下进行教学和科研的能力 ,也对师范院校面向师范生的现代教育技术教育提出新要求———在现代教育技术教学内容方面 ,要更多地向信息技术倾斜 ;在教育目标上 ,要将现代教育技术教育作为素质教育的重要课程 ;在教学方法和手段上 ,要利用网络构建学生自主学习、以学生为中心的探讨式教育模式 。

Information Age requires teachers to master IT skills and principles and methods of teaching and research in new IT context. This changed demand presents a challenge to IT education in teachers' colleges. As far as teaching content is concerned, more attention must be directed at IT-related areas. And as far as teaching objective is concerned, IT education should become a important part of quality-oriented education. And in teaching methods and techniques, Internet and campus computer webs must be made full use of to create favorable IT learning environment, in which the students are allowed to take the initiative and explore knowledge for themselves.
