摘要
蜂窝网和无线局域网(Wireless Local Area Network,WLAN)的融合是下一代移动通信的发展趋势,异构网络环境下的垂直切换及最优网络选择继而成为通信界的一个研究热点。本文基于TOPSIS垂直切换算法,从终端接收功率、切换时延、系统带宽和代价4个垂直切换判决因子考虑,判断网络综合性能,进而做出准确切换决定。仿真分析表明,与传统算法相比,该算法使用户在WLAN网络综合性能较好时即发生切换,处于最优的网络。同时,该算法通过设置切换稳定周期来减少乒乓效应。
The integration of the cellular network and WLAN is the trend for developing the next generation mobile communications. Thus vertical handover and the optimal network choice in the heterogeneous network environment has become a hot research topic. In this paper, TOPSIS algorithm was used to judge comprehensive network performance and make accurate handover deci- sions by taking into account of four factors: the Received Signal Strength (RSS), the delay, the system bandwidth and the cost. The simulation results indicated that this algorithm can let users switch to WLAN as soon as the comprehensive performance within the net became better. At the same time, the algorithm eliminated the ping-pang effect through switching stable cycle.
