聚居人群社会结构的建立以生产生活合作方式为基础,反映出聚落营造时社会类型的特征,并将人群的社会结构特征投射在聚落物质空间的营造上,社会结构的转型必然导致聚落空间的更新。随着由农耕进入工业的社会转型,传统聚落内人群社会结构发生了相应的改变,促使聚落在区域空间分布上的整合更新和内部空间建造上的更新。
