摘要
论述了ATM网络ABR业务流量控制的当前发展情况,介绍了基于“信用”制与基于速率调节两种主要的ABR业务流量控制原理及速率调节方案当前存在的主要问题.特别对网络中由于线路的传播时延造成的流量控制上的滞后效应进行了深入研究,采用离散化的ATM网传输模型,提出了一种基于速率自适应预测的ABR业务流量控制方法,通过仿真,验证了其有效性.
Current developements of ABR traffic on ATM networks are introduced in this paper. Two major flow control mechanisms, namely, credit-based mechanism and ratebased mechanism are presented. The problems on rate-based flow control mechanism are also pointed out. In order to solve the detained-effect brought by the delayed network feedback information, an adaptive rate prediction flow control method using a discretetime ATM transmission model is suggested. Its effectiveness is presented by computer simulation.
