摘要
车牌识别是智能交通中关键技术之一,字符分割是车牌识别的基础。本文利用车牌边框的边缘信息进行车牌倾斜校正,然后基于垂直投影和模板匹配相结合的字符分割算法被提出,提高了字符分割准确率。
License plate recognition is one of critical technics in Intelligence Traffic System, and its performance is affected by charac- ter segmentation algorithm. This paper corrects the oblique license plate with edge information of license plate, and then proposes a character segmentation algorithm, which combines vertical projection and template matching, the precision of character segmentation is greatly increased.
