Breeding of a New Chinese Cabbage F 1 Hybrid — ‘Zhongbai No.7’

中白 7号大白菜是由从北京地方品种小青口中选出的自交不亲和系F 1 1 3 11 3与从亚洲蔬菜研究与发展中心提供的材料中选出的自交系AV9杂交选育而成的一代杂种。生育期6 0d(天 )左右 ,矮桩叠抱 ,头球形 ,叶球中等大小 ,球色深绿 ,抗病毒病及黑腐病 ,经济性状优良 ,正常年份平均每 6 6 7m2 产净菜 4 373.7kg ,比对照品种小杂 6 0增产 2 2 .7%。

Zhongbai No.7’is a new F 1 hybrid of heading Chinese cabbage developed by crossing self imcompatible line F 1 1 3 11 3 from Beijing local variety ‘Xiaoqingkou’ with self compatible line AV 9 from abroad materials. It can be harvested in 60 days after sowing. It is high resistance to TuMV and black rot with dwarf stalk and overlapping in shape. The average yield is about 65.6t·hm -2 ,22.7% higher than that of the control ‘Xiaoza No.60’.
