关于秦始皇的功过问题,众人之看法可谓是仁者见仁,智者见智。虽有"过",但秦始皇对社会发展之贡献是任何人都无法否定的。文字、货币以及度量衡的统一对中国两千多年之中社会的发展有着深远的影响和促进作用。作为一国之君的秦始皇因开创了中央集权制的第一个封建王朝而功不可没,其功之"大",乃至后世之人能与其相比者甚少。

There are many different ideas about the contribution and mistakes that the First Emperor of Qin had done. The fact is that even with mistakes his contribution to the sociaI de- velopment is deniable. The standardization of writing, money, and measure and weight had pro- found effect on the social advancement. As the sovereign, Emperor Qin started the centralism feudal dynasty. This achievement had not been surpassed by other feudal emperors.
