摘要
提出用凝胶注模法制备超细碳化硅颗粒增强铝基复合材料新工艺,并对其基础工艺:Al-SiC复合浆料的沉降现象和凝胶固化时间进行了研究。结果表明,当pH值为9,分散剂PVP加入量质量分数为2%,可制备出固相体积分数为50%、分散均匀的复合浆料;随成型温度的升高,复合浆料的固化时间逐渐缩短;随着引发剂尤其是催化剂加入量的增加,复合浆料的固化时间明显缩短。
A new technology, gel-casting was proposed to prepare SiC particles reinforced aluminum matrix composite material. Its basic process, the settling phenomena and gel curing time of Al - SiC composite slurry were studied. The experimental results showed that A1-SiC ceramic suspension with solid volume content at 50% could be prepared by adjusting pH to 9 and adding 2% PVP. With the increase of forming temperature the gelling time of suspension decreased gradually, with the addition of initiator and catalyst in particular the gelling time of suspension shortens obviously. The mechanism has also been discussed.
