In Las Vegas,there is a crowded and splendid luxury casino in every restaurant.This entertainment capital is also the location for the most influential consumer electronics show,CES. Lenovo has attended the event for the past 4 years.This year,instead of simply trying to attract attention like other Chinese companies,Lenovo arranged its new product release in the bar next door to the casino, making the event a 'technology fashion party'. Lenovo's senior vice president Liu Jun failed to show in this event.Perhaps this was intentional,as Liu has become the man of topic recently.Just days ago,an internal email indicated that Lenovo Group would be reorganized into two standalone groups:Lenovo business and Think business,and according to this reorganization and comments from Yang Yuanqing,president and CEO of Lenovo,Liu Jun is widely assumed to be close to the future head of Lenovo Group.In the meantime,Lenovo has decided to manufacture products by itself.Both management and products would be 'made in Lenovo' in the future. Lenovo thinks it's the only way to understand Lenovo and recreate it in the PC+ times.
