医书是治病的书,不能粗制滥造。如今编著中医书籍竟相求厚求多的现象越来越严重,这有碍于中医医疗技术的传承和推广。医家著书立说,应像临症一样,当慎之又慎。大而全,内容庞杂,不应提倡。今人编著医书也应是:或伸古人所欲言,或补前贤所未备,务求理足方效,不为影响之谈。

The medical books are used to cure patents, so it cannot be manufactured in a rough and shoddy way.Nowadays, the phenomenon that authoring Traditional Chinese Medicine books pursues thickness and quantity is becoming poorer in content, which impedes the inheritance and extension of Traditional Chinese Medical treatment technology. Medical practitioners writing books should be cautious, the same as practice. We don’t advocate the pursuit of the large and complete, or the cumbersome.The theory of authoring medical books for contemporary people should be as follows： telling what ancients want to say, or adding what the former achievements leave out. And the purpose is just to pursue the truth and effect instead of influence.
