因特网的迅猛发展,使各类图书馆纷纷接入网络,并在网络上开通了各自的主页及相关站点。但是相当多的图书馆还未认识到网络虚拟社区在图书馆应用中的功能与作用。本文介绍了网络虚拟社区的含义、特点、功能等,并对其在图书馆中的应用进行了分析。

Rapidly of internet in China, many libraries, especially those in universities had access to the network and opened their homepage and related sites. But a lot of libraries don＇t recognize the significant function and role d virtual corunity in the library applications. This article describes the meaning, characteristics, functions of the network virtual corranunities and analyzes the application in the library.
