The influenza A (H1N1) pandemic has already passed, but it left us many issues worthy of serious consideration, such as the severity of this pandemic is far lower than in the past, the definition of the pandemic changes and whether there are conflicts of interest between the WHO and the pharmaceutical companies. During the course of the pandemic, there are still many unresolved problems of public health ethics, such as unreasonable allocation of resources, invasion of personal privacy by the surveillance, deprivation of personal freedom by the forced isolation, and the sharing of information needs to be further strengthened.
