心理空间理论阐述了意义构建过程中话语信息的心理空间关系,交际主体双方心理空间语义项的不对称导致话语误解,心理空间原理用于构建命题意义、指称意义和会话含意三类误解的心理空间机制,从认知论角度为话语交际失误研究提供了一种新手段。

The mental space theory elaborates the relations of the mental spaces built by the discourse information in the meaning construction. The elements of the mental spaces of the speaker and the hearer may not be in correspondence, which leads to the misunderstanding of the discourse meaning. The mental space theory is used for constructing the space mechanisms of the misunderstandings of the propositional meaning, the referential meaning and the conversational implicature, and it provides a new cognitive method for the study of the discourse communication failure.
