Scope： investigate the impact of the groundwater fluctuation on the settlement of foundation on the coarse sand soils Approach： Throughout the model study with different groundwater levels, measure the vertical settlement of sand with differ ent foundation contact pressures. Major Conclusion： Small settlement will be induced due to the rising or lowering the ground water.
