The Research of Image Fusion

用小波进行图像融合的原理就是将两个原始的图像的小波分解进行融合,这种融合的方法适用于近似系数和详细系数。这两个图像必须同等尺寸且在共有的图像映射上和索引的图像进行关联。

The principle of image fusion using wavelets is to merge the wavelet decompositions of the two original images using fusion methods applied to approximations coefficients and details coefficients. The two images must be of the same size and are supposed to be associated with indexed images on a common colormap.
