摘要 3G系统刚刚深入人心,人们又开始了对4G系统的研究。4G系统是一种能容纳庞大的用户数,具有较高的通信质量及传输速率,能传输语音、数据、影像等多媒体信息的移动通信系统。4G系统是当今移动通信的发展趋势,它有很多优点,速率高,灵活性强,用户数量庞大,兼容各种系统,多媒体业务丰富,资费便宜。这里介绍了4G系统的发展背景、特点、主要技术,展望了4G系统的未来。 With the in-depth development of the 3rd generation system, the 4th generation system now becomes the hot topic. The 4th generation could accommodate large numbers of users, and with high communication quality and high transmission rate, could transmit voice, data, video and other multimedia message. The 4th generation system is the development trend of today's mobile communications, and has many advantages, including high speed, flexibility, large numbers of users, compatibility with various systems, rich multimedia service and low cost. The paper describes the development backgrounds, technical features and propects of the 4th generation system.
