Expression of Leptin and Leptin receptor in papillary thyroid carcinoma and relationship with clinical features

摘要 目的观察瘦素(Leptin)及瘦素受体(ObR)在甲状腺乳头状癌(papillary thyroid carcinoma,PTC)中的表达及其与临床特征的关系。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测76例PTC组织(其中26例发生淋巴结转移、50例未发生淋巴结转移)和16例甲状腺腺瘤组织中Leptin和ObR的表达。结果 Leptin在PTC中的阳性率为72.37%,在甲状腺腺瘤中的阳性率为56.25%,两者相比差异无显著性。ObR在PTC的阳性率为73.68%,在甲状腺腺瘤的阳性率为43.75%,两者相比差异有显著性(P<0.05)。在76例PTC中,Leptin与ObR的表达具有相关性(P<0.05)。Leptin和ObR在PTC阳性组中的肿块直径大小与阴性组的肿块直径大小,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 ObR在PTC中的表达明显高于甲状腺腺瘤,Leptin和ObR表达与PTC肿块直径大小有关。 Purpose To investigate the correlation between the expressions of Leptin and ObR in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) and clinical features. Methods The expressions of Leptin amd ObR were detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC) with sreptavidin- peroxidase (SP) in 76 PTC tissues (26 with lymph node metastases, 50 without lymph node metastases) and 16 thyroid adenoma tis- sues. Result The positive expression rates of Leptin were 72. 37% and 56. 25% in papillary thyroid carcinoma and thyroid adenoma tissues which no significant difference was observed. The positive expression rates of ObR were 73.68% and 43.75% in papillary thy- roid carcinoma and thyroid adenoma tissues. The difference between the two groups was significant ( P 〈 0.05 ). There is an association of Leptin expression with ObR expression in the papillary thyroid carcinoma . In papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues, theJtumor size of the both positive expression groups was obviously different with the negative expression groups. The differences were significant ( P 〈 0. 05 ). And the expression of Leptin and ObR was not significant related to age, preoperative body weight, menostasis, lymph node metastases and mulifocality. Conclusion The expression of ObR in PTC is signifeantly higher than that in thyroid adenoma tissues, and the expressions of Leptin and ObR are association with tumor size in PTC.
