Erectile dysfunction （ED） is a male common complication of diabetes mellitus. Diabetic neuropathy plays a vital role in its development. Penile erection is the process of the nerve innervates the vascular filling, as a result, neural lesions can cause erectile dysfunction. This article summarizes diabetic neuropathy and erectile dysfunction.
