摘要
本项研究通过关注英语专业基础阶段实施内容依托教学讨论了CBI模式下的英语教学对英语专业学生书面表达能力的影响。本研究采用定量研究方法,通过测试采集相关数据,并运用SPSS软件对数据进行分析。测试调查结果表明,实验班与对照班在经过一年的英语专业学习后,写作能力都得到了显著提高,实验班经过系统的内容依托教学之后,写作能力不仅没有受到消极影响,而且表现出了比对照班进步更快的趋势。内容依托课程对扩大学生视野、增加学生知识储备、扩展学生词汇量等方面都起到了积极的促进作用。本项研究对内容依托教学促进学生写作能力的培养有积极的启示作用。
This study analyzed the impact of content-based instruction on the development of English major's written English through researches into the instruction at the fundamental stage. This study adopted quantitative research with tests as instrument for data collection. SPSS software was used for the analysis of the data. Research results of tests showed that the written competence of both experimental classes and control classes were improving considerably while the experimental classes were progressing much faster with no negative effects shown by the researches. CBI courses can help students expand horizons, increase knowledge storage and enlarge vocabularies This study will play a positive and instructive role on how to cultivate and promote English major's written English competence through CBI courses.
