The Making Technique of the Gold-plated ThreadUnearthed from the Crypt of the Famen Temple

前言法门寺塔基地宫1987年的考古发掘中出土了大量丝织品，其中一部分使用捻金线作为装饰材料^[1]。这成为法门寺丝绸织造技术和装饰技法的一大特色，也是研究唐代捻金线装饰工艺的珍贵资料。由唐代捻金线派生，

The gold-wefted brocade and cujin embroidery were important parts of the silk products unearthed from the crypt of the Famen Temple and also the valuable data for the studies on the materials and making technique of the nianjin xian （ gold-plated threads ） of the Tang Dynasty. Observed by optical muhichannel analyzer （ OMA ） and scanning electron microscope （ SEM ） , the shapes and structural characteristics of the gold-plated threads and the core threads could be revealed. By the energy dispersive spectrum （ EDS ） analysis, the alloy composition of the gold-plated threads could be understood.
