试析怀特海的职业教育思想及启示

Analysis on the Vocational Education Thoughts of Whitehead and Its Inspirations

怀特海提出,教育目的是造就那些既有文化修养又在某个特殊方面具有专业知识的人才;职业教育理想就是让"工作是娱乐、娱乐是生活";要处理好技术教育、文科教育和科学教育的关系。怀特海的职业教育思想对我国职业教育改革发展具有诸多启示。

Whitehead proposed that the aim of education is to produce men who possess both culture and expert knowl edge in some special fields his dream of vocational education is ＂work is entertainment and entertainment is life＂; the re lationship between technical education, liberal education and scientific education should be correctly dealt with. These thoughts have some inspirations to the reform and development of vocational education in China.
