摘要
本研究通过问卷调查、规范改错和访谈,考察我国学习者对英语学术写作APA格式规范的认知现状。研究发现,学习者在完成毕业论文后对英语学术写作规范的认知依然有限,尽管与汇报的难点总体一致,但实际改错能力较弱;硕士阶段与本科阶段相比,在规范认知层面没有显著进步。基于该调查结果,该研究进一步探讨主要原因,并就改进课程设置与教学提出建议。
This paper investigates through a questionnaire, error correction, and interviews the perceptions of English academic writing formats by Chinese learners. The study finds that the learners still have a limited understanding of writing formats despite the fact that they have finished up writing graduation theses. Albeit consistent with their perceptions of difficulties, learners are hardly able to correct format errors. Graduate students do not show a significant progress as compared with undergraduate students regarding the perceptions of research writing formats. Based on the findings the study explores major causes and puts forward suggestions concerning how to improve the relevant curriculum and pedagogy.
