天然甾体皂甙研究进展

Natural steroidal saponins,an exploitable field in new drug development

对 6种薯蓣属植物和 1种龙舌兰属植物中的甾体皂甙做了系统研究 ,鉴定了近 2 0个甾体皂甙的结构并初步探索了它们的生物活性。以甾体皂甙元为母核 ,参考已知的天然甾体皂甙中糖的连接方式 ,定向的半合成甾体皂甙 ,并进行药理活性筛选 ,寻找有活性的先导化合物 ,是药物创新中一个值得开发的领域。

Seven steroidal saponin-containing plants were studied systemically by the author,and some 20 steroidal saponins were obtained.Their structures have been elucidated and their bilolgical activities have been preliminarily explored.Thus new chemical entities may be obtained by semi-synthesis basing on the parent nucleus of a natural saponin and referring to its linkage with saccharide.Then their biological activities can be screened.Therefore,natural steroidal saponins may be an exploitable field for new drug development.
