网络环境下非英语专业新生听力学习策略的调查与研究

A Study of Listening Strategies Used by Non-English Freshmen Under the Internet Learning Environment

本项研究对地方本科院校非英语专业新生的英语听力学习策略进行了调查。调查数据显示,网络环境下,非英语专业本科新生的听力策略使用频率偏低,特别是元认知策略和社会/情感策略的使用频率较低。不同专业和性别的学生在策略的运用上表现出的共性,也存在一定的差异。笔者认为了解大学新生英语听力策略的使用状况,能够指导和帮助大学英语教师改进英语听力教学的实效。

The study investigates listening strategies used by non-English freshmen in the local college. The data shows that the use frequency of listening strategies for non-English freshmen is low, and the use frequency of cognitive strategies and social/ affective strategies is lower. There are both similarities and differences in the use of listening strategies by students of different majors and genders. The investigation of the use of listening strategies by freshmen may help our English listening teaching in the future.
