摘要
长期以来,我国大学英语教学的重点和形式比较拘泥于课堂上。随着时代的发展,英语学习更加需要学生听、说等实际应用能力的提高,单一地注重课堂教学使得大学生英语学习的主动性、积极性和潜能未能充分发挥,客观上影响了学生英语学习的质量和效果。开辟并逐步优化英语第二课堂教学,使之与英语教学主渠道相辅相成,能够将枯燥的英语学习转化为丰富而有吸引力的学生活动,大大弥补课堂教学的不足,是改革英语教学观念、增强英语教学效果的理想途径。
College English teaching in China has been focusing on classroom activities for a long time. With the development of the times, students need to improve their application abilities such as listening and speaking. Students' initiative, enthusiasm and potential can't be brought into full play if the teaching mode is solely focused on traditional classroom activities, which will lead to the failure of students' English learning. Developing and gradually optimizing the extracurricular teaching activities, which is an essential complement to traditional English teaching, will make English teaching more interesting and attractive. It is an ideal way to reform English teaching mode and an effective way to enhance English teaching.
