法律英语教学改革建议——从法律英语语言特点出发

Suggestions on the Teaching Reform of Legal English:With the Language Features of Legal English as the Starting Point

随着市场对法律英语人才需求呼声渐高,很多高校开设了法律英语课程。但从总体上说,我国法律英语教学效果不容乐观,大多数开设法律英语课程的高校都处于探索阶段,对于法律英语课应该教什么、怎么教、达到什么教学目的,还没有形成统一的认识和做法。造成此种现状的原因是多方面的,解决途径也必须多管齐下。本文拟从法律英语自身语言特点出发,结合学生水平及社会对法律英语人才的期许,尝试对法律英语教学改革给出几点建议。

Many colleges and universities set up legal English courses, some have even set up legal English majors as the mar- ket demand for legal English talents increasing. But on balance, the teaching effect is not good and most colleges and universities are in the exploratory stage. There is not unified understanding and practice of what to teach, how to teach and what is the aim. The reasons and the solutions are not only of such situation. The author try to give some suggestions of legal English teaching from the language characteristics of legal English, combined with the standards of students and the society＇s requirements to the legal English talents.
